Matter At Hand are a band formed in the hills of Arthur's Seat, Melbourne in 2008. First meeting in high school they created the band for fun, eventually becoming serious after gigging in various pubs and events around the Mcrae- Rosebud area. With Tom Bensley on bass, Jack Walsh on vocals/lead guitar and Jack Walters on the drums, they have recorded and distributed CD's all around the Mornington Peninsula. Their inspiration comes from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band and other various artists. Matter At Hand is the original name of the band however they sometimes perform under the name "Jack, Jack, Tom" largely because of their inability to agree on a name for the band. Both Tom and Jack Walsh were born on the Mornington Peninsula, however Jack Walters was born in Brisbane, Queensland and migrated south during primary school.
