The Beginning Matt Holliday was born on 25th February 1984 in Birmingham, England. As a teenager he was a fanatical cyclist and soon after leaving school was racing bikes full time with a dream of racing the Tour De France, but this wasn't to be. After what was his most successful year race wise, still as a junior and about to join the pro elite's, Matt decided that this isn't what he wanted to do for the rest of his life and turned his attention to his love for music. At the age of 18 he started recording mix cd's and dabbling with different bits of production software. Many tracks were produced over the years to follow whilst developing his own production technique then came the summer anthem 'Your Touch'. Since the making of Your Touch Matt has gone from strength to strength as an artist, producing a continuous flow of new tracks. Remixing for labels such as Enhanced Recordings, creating bootleg versions of tracks such as his Killers remix, and performing. Passion To describe Matt's style would be very hard as he is so versatile, but one sure thing is that each of his tracks have been produced with passion. Weather it be happy uplifting trance, moody tech-trance or even calming laid back chill-out it will without a doubt have been influenced by Matts mood. Most of his tracks are produced in his home studio, as soon as the mood is right he will start by creating a melody. Usually strings, then the rest follows.
