Matt Hoffer is a singer/songwriter based in Chicago, Illinois. Matt appeared on the second season of Rock Star on CBS (Rock Star Supernova) but was punted unfairly/early due to Supernova's dismal reaction to his cover of Duran Duran's Planet Earth. His departure was controversial, the band citing his "poor song choice" as a reason for his elimination while several vocally weak competitors remained. Matt has a Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/matthoffer) and has played shows with fellow Chicageon and Rock Star alum Marty Casey.
