Artist
Matt Adler has definitely made his mark on the San Antonio Christian rock scene, playing with such bands as Zeroseven, ...Blend, and guest performances with Michael O'Brien and Chris Taylor. He has now released his first self-produced solo album at only 17 years of age (he is now 19). This album, while accessible to any rock music fan, is strongly rooted in Christian ideals. Such worship songs as "Good to be Alive" and "Prayer for the Fallen" truly allow listeners to involve themselves in the worship of our Creator. Although originally from New Orleans, most of Matt's musical experience has taken place in San Antonio, TX. At 8 years old, his grandfather gave him an acoustic guitar and he instantly became enveloped in the sheer beauty of the instrument. For many years, he played at various churches and at the age of 14, Matt got his first experience as a worship-leader at a Generation X worship service called "The Deep End." Through the motivation of several people, Matt finally embarked on his first solo recording project in late 2002, and after long last, it was completed. "I've always wanted to find an accessible way to preach the word of God to non-believers." Matt said, "Hopefully with this release I can lead people to a close, personal relationship with Jesus Christ."
