Machines are built on the basis of sub-assemblies and modules which can be armed and rearmed for an infinite number of purposes. Maszyny i Motyle 'Machines and Butterflies' have been rearmed and equipped with new sub-assemblies. The speech apparatus has been disconnected yet the message is conveyed through the use of stories told by emotions via music generated from a bio-mechanical being - man combined with computer. Maszyny i Motyle are a three piece band hailing from Warka, Poland. They play an experimental blend of rock and metal consisting of discordant chords played by heavily distorted guitars in odd time signatures. There is neither a vocalist, nor a drummer so all drums are sampled.
