Masroor Fateh Ali Khan, born on March 4, 1976, in the village of Kirtu Shariff, later moved to Narang Mandi near Narowal. He completed his matriculation at Narang Mandi High School. His passion for singing was sparked by listening to the legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Qawwal, whose Qawwali performances deeply inspired him. Masroor had the privilege of training under Ustad Jee, receiving formal musical education until 1997. After completing his training, he embarked on a solo music career in 2006. Though born as Iftikhar Ahmad, he adopted the stage name Masroor Fateh Ali Khan. His grounding in Sufi music and unwavering passion for singing culminated in notable success in 2014.
