Artist
Mary McCarthy is an English pop singer who released two singles in the 1960s. Based in Hastings in southern England, she fronted Ronnie and The Silhouettes and Sextet 65 in her home town in the early 1960s. She toured Eastern Europe, having a hit in Poland, before returning to the UK and fronting the band the Morality. Following a 1967 single release as half of Mary and Mickey (along with Mickey Clarke) she released her two 45s, "The Folk I Love" and "You Know He Did". Neither release was a success and she disappeared from the music scene soon afterwards. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
