In Slavic demonology Martwiec is a ghost of dead person, wąpierz, wampir, vampire. In Poland - upiór. Living by night, feeding on blood. One-man project Martwiec (occasionally with guests - on first album with Uchylak) is dark doom about death, fear and living in general. Typical for it is its slow, steady rate, long structures, depressive vibe, mixing electronics with instruments and howling voices in the background. Martwiec is part of Ubocze REC.
