In the small towns of Joliet & Lockport Illinois two 'youngsters' found out early in life that they had an undeniable passion for music. Jacquelyn "Jacque" Hammond studied the finest early on, taking inspiration from artists such as; Whitney Houston. Ultimately, it was that good ole' jazz music that won her affection. Talents such as; Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra & Louis Armstrong have been influential to her as an artists. Jacque knew it was these greats that she would pattern her own career after. Roman Lee grew up in Lockport, IL where hew drew inspiration from the triumphs of his life. It was those experience tht allowed him to express so passionately his love of music & truth. During his jr. high years Roman realized that Hip-Hop was undoubtedly what he wanted take part in -- & all these years later, his rhymes are realer than ever before. It was simply destiny that these two talented individuals meet & create such spirited music. Martin Parks, as the duo call themselves, want to be revolutionaries in the music industry. Modeling their music path after two historical revolutionarties; Martin Luther King Jr. & Rosa Parks (hence the name; "Martin Parks). Martin Parks wishes to bring their energy & passion into the lives of everyone of their fans. The pair has only just begun & intend to set a new standard in music.
