about

Marston Moor is a pop rock band formed in La Roche-Sur-Yon, France in 2005. The original lineup consisted of composer/lyricist Ron Moor(vocals, guitars, keyboards) and bass player Geo Tanakan. The band was accompanied by tour drummers Tom Obzor, Sebastien Marratier and Alexis Begaud. This last one still accompanies Ron Moor on acoustic showcase. Keyboards were initially played by Martin Stir. Marston Moor released two EPs in 2007 (Fading Roses) and 2009 (Mourning Sun). The band is currently in the studio to record their brand first album that is due to be released before summer '11. Ron's reckons 90's rock had a huge influence on his musical emotions, and thus his composition style. He refers My Vitriol's Finelines,The Smashing Pumpkins' Machina/The Machines of God and Garbage's Version 2.0 as his "three most striking teenage musical emotions". From 2007 to 2009, Marston Moor supported many well-known bands such as Kill the Young, Déportivo, Blankass, Aronas, etc Free tracks can be downloaded at their offical website, www.marston-moor.com.
