Originally formed during the 08-09 school year at Phillips Academy, Marshawn is the product of lead singer Sam Weiss' driving urge to make music. Consisting of four Andover students, Sam Weiss (Vocals, Guitar). Alex Kalil (Guitar), Ellie DiBerardino (Bass), and Zachary Fine (Drums), Marshawn played together officially for only a brief period of time, resulting in a single recording session in the spring of 09. The band is officially on hiatus after three of the members (Sam, Alex, and Ellie) graduated in the spring of 09. Sam Weiss continues to play music, both solo and as a part of larger bands, most recently as part of "Bee Keeper" with Zachary Fine.
