Marmaladies were formed in Heraklion, Crete in October 2004 after a long jam session. Their music is a mixture of funk, psuchedelic and contemporary sounds. A total of 20 songs were composed. They were performed live concerts in Heraklion and Athens between 2004 and 2006. Members of Marmaladies are former members of Biri Biri and Kangoors.
