Miķelis Ļaksa, known by his stage name Markus Riva, is a Latvian singer and songwriter from Rīga, Latvia. Released his latest solo album Songs from NYC in 2010 with radio hits like Love to You, Quiz, Can't Sleep and Chase. The debut album was released in 2009. He is the most stylish performer by Latvian Style and Fashion Award in 2011. Markus Riva scored #1 iTunes hit with song by Gaitis Lazdans and Markus Riva - How It Feels to Be a Man that is included in international compilation by Aztec Records This Beat Is Poptronik, vol.1.
