Markku Aro (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈmɑrkːu ˈɑro]), born as Markku Tuomas Puputti (February 3, 1950 in Mouhijärvi, Finland), is a Finnish singer who performed in the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest in Ireland with the pop duo Koivistolaiset. They appeared with the song "Tie uuteen päivään" ("Road to a New Day") which came 8th. He has released many albums in his country.
