There is more then one artist called Mark Walton. 1. Mark Walton Bio: One of Australia's most respected DJ's, Mark Walton has been a long time DJ within the Australian Dance Music movement. Having experienced the many trends throughout the 80's and 90's. Mark Walton's DJ sets demonstrate vast knowledge of Dance Music, whilst pushing the boundaries of Dance Music genres today. After being discovered in Brisbane (Mark's home town) by R.A.T, (Recreational Arts Team) the youth cultural phenomenon of the late '80's, producing events for audiences of up to 15 000. Mark made his move to Sydney to pursue his DJ career after joining. He visited Los Angeles after an invitation to perform at a series of events throughout the West Coast. While establishing within the Sydney DJ circuit in the early 90's, he began sourcing music for Good Groove Records, (Tom Georgiou). Mark Walton then developed an independent label, Muzik Too with Sydney friend Mark Taylor, SLATS studios. Muzik Too distributed underground mixed tapes by local DJ's, assisting their profiles and the Australian DJ market. After Muzik Too, Mark moved to New York for work, to seek inspiration and for serious vinyl collecting. Throughout the remainder of the 90's, Mark had worked with radio, broadcasting new music programs for 2SER FM.
