Mark Heaney is a renowned solo drumming artist/musical creator from London. He started playing drums at the age of 8. His solo project sees him fuse his live drumming with elements from Jazz and Electronic music creating a unique sonic and vibe. It features Neville Malcolm on upright bass. Mark has been an in demand session player for many bands and artists throughout his career including The Seahorses, John Squire, Badly Drawn Boy, Klaxons and many more. Mark was a member of Post Punk Icons Gang of Four for 8 Years. In 2016 Mark formed London experimental Jazz quartet Extemporize. Mark also composes bespoke music for Film and TV with clients that recently include, De Wolfe music, Extreme music, Microsoft and more.
