Mark is the singer and songwriter for "The Blow Ins", a two piece acoustic act based in Limerick, Ireland - there are a flood of new songs coming through with a new album "Hy Brasil" expected for release later on in 2014. Lukasz Piatkowski forms the second half of the band as the drummer. Mark started as a solo performer at the start of 2005 in London with only one small gig and one rough recording of his track "Red Sky" to his name. Then Steve Mason (DJ at London radio's XFM and Gene songwriter) had a chance listen to the songs and immediately signed Mark up for some showcase gigs at the XFM sponsored "Rendition" shows. Later on in London he became a 3 piece band with Brian Connell and Gaz Twist, playing acoustic music rich in melodies and thoughtful lyrics ranging from rainy day downbeat to more uptempo even funky stuff (try Mental Institution).
