flutist, improvisor, composer Born June 12 1963; Grew up in Thailand, Uganda and Germany. Started playing the flute at seventeen and ended up studying both jazz as well as classical/ contemporary music at the Amsterdam ‘School of Arts’, received private tuition in the US, study of Indian Bansuri flute in Rotterdam. Released 15 CD’s as a leader/co-leader at German, Dutch, French, Turkish and US labels. Worked/recorded with musicians from all over the globe. Literally from A(rmenia) to Z(ambia). A.o.
