… YESTERDAY Mario Lopez Santos was born in Aranda de Duero (Burgos) 14-7-73. He begins his musical studies at the age of 9 and realizes the Average Degree in the Professional Conservatoire of Valladolid, under the guardianship of the teachers Mariví Renedo and Paul Dolan. In 1992 he moves to Madrid, where he receives classes of the renowned teacher Manuel Carra. In 1993 he joins the Royal Top Conservatoire of Music of Madrid, Julián Lopez Gimeno's Chair, after achieving one of 26 vacant squares between more than 250 aspirants. In 1998 he obtains the Top Title of Piano, with the qualification of Distinction and obtains, in addition, Honor's Matriculation in the subjects of History of the Art and Aesthetics of the Music. Also he realizes studies of Dispute and Escape with the professors Daniel Vega and Mercedes Padilla. Until the year 1999 he alternates recitals of classic music with others of style "New Age". In this field he completes his own stages of formation and investigation with diverse courses on technology and pianistic pedagogy, as well as others based specifically in the analysis and development compositivo.
