Mario Diaz de León is a composer and guitarist from New York, USA. His influences include modern composition, underground metal, and a wide range of electronic music. His debut CD as a composer was performed by the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), and released in 2009 on John Zorn's Tzadik label. He currently records and performs as ONEIROGEN, a project characterized by its merging of ethereal synths, brutal distortion, noise, and modern composition influences. The project was initiated in 2012 with the release of "Hypnos" (Shinkoyo, Denovali).
