Marini Luciana Nainggolan, or known as Marini Nainggolan was born on 22 March 1994. She is a music undergraduate concentrating on vocal performance at Pelita Harapan University. Now she pursues a career as a singer, vocal coach and backing vocalist. Marini often collaborates with Dua Empat at numerous events such as Java Jazz Festival, Jazz Goes to Campus, Singapore Jazz Festival and Sofarsounds Jakarta. As a singer, Marini aims to share her thoughts and values through her lyrics as well, that’s what drives her to release her first album titled Ambivalén a month after her first single, Siklus Gila. Apart from being a soloist, since 2015 she’s also been working as a backing vocalist for Indonesia’s well-known female singer, Raisa.
