Marie Lindberg is a Swedish primary teacher, and amateur musician. She entered her song "Trying To Recall" into Melodifestivalen, the Swedish qualification round for Eurovision Song Contest, in 2007. She made it into the competition, and performed in the second semi final, reportedly her first time in front of an audience larger than 10 people. She subsequently qualified for the final in Globen on March 10th, were she came at 5th place. She got 70 points, 66 from the viewers (4th place) and 4 from the Malmö jury.
