Marie Key (formerly Marie Key Band) is a danish pop and singer-songwriter, who in her solo career has refined an electro pop style with meaningful songs, assisted along the way by Andreas Sommer (Stoffer & Maskinen). She released her first solo album "I byen igen" in 2011 to moderate success. Her next album "De Her Dage" skyrocketed her career and established her among the danish pop glitterati. The album was critically acclaimed and became "Album of the year" in several national newspapers and Marie Key also won the prestigious award " P3 Prisen" as well as six out of the seven awards, that she was nominated for at the Danish Music Awards in 2013.
