Margaret Bell, a native Detroiter, started singing in her father's church at the age of six. When she turned sixteen, she began singing professionally and touring with her sisters, recording artist, Charlene Bell, and renown gospel recording artist, Vanessa Bell Armstrong. After graduating high school, she received a scholarship to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma and performed as one of the Richard Roberts Live television singers, on his daily broadcast. After leaving college, she went on to perform in her first Broadway Musical, "Don't Get God Started", in New York City, launching her theatrical career. From there she went on to star and perform in various other theatrical productions. Margaret has toured the United States and abroad with Carly Simon as well as Bebe and Cece Winans, performing in such countries as Italy and South Africa to name a few. She recorded her debut CD with Warner Brothers Records entitled "Over and Over". This free-spirited rhythm-and-blues flavored project displayed the versatility of her vocal capabilities. Margaret has performed for and/or with Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, Michael Jackson, Roberta Flack, Quincy Jones, Maya Angelou and President George W. Bush. She has recorded with Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross and has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, BET's Celebration of Gospel and the televised Martin Luther King Monument Dedication Ceremony.
