Marcisz is a songwriter from Runkst (Hasselt) and a 4-track tape recorder enthusiast. While he is most known for being the leadsinger and songwriter of the indie powerpop band MINT, he has released a debut solo-record under his own name that displays a far more pastoral and folky style of songwriting. The songs rely mainly on Marcisz' voice and acoustic guitar picking, occasionaly accompanied by some banjo strums, casio sounds and xylophone. 'Songs from red brick road' was released by Münich Records on 15.09.2009.
