Marcin Kuczewski began his musical education on piano at age of seven. Throughout eight following years he was learning under the tutorship of Prof. Teresa Manasterska from the Music Academy of Fr. Chopin in Warsaw. Additionally he was a student in a class of piano improvisation under Prof. Szabolcs Esztenyi in the Music Academy in Warsaw and an active participant of workshops in the field of classical and jazz composition. Laureate of an International Piano Competition under the patronage of EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association ). Participant of numerous competitions and festivals as pianist, arranger and composer (for instance I, III, IV Warsaw Workshops of Gospel Music with participation of Ruth Lynch and Norris Garner, Polish National Jazz Meetings in Olsztyn, Actor’s Songs Review in Wroclaw, Competition “Let’s Remember Osiecka” and many others). He cooperated with many gospel artists like Karen Gibson, Tracey Campbell, Noel Robinson, Gerald T. Smith, Colin Vassell and many other jazz artists (Grazyna Auguscik). Since 2004 he has been collaborating with Sienna Gospel Choir, as well as with a Vocal School by the name of Jerzy Wasowski in Warsaw. In 2005 he started to cooperate with the First Channel of Polish National Television (TVP1) (as an author of music to programmes for children and since 2006 he has been composing opening and closing jingles to Wieczorynka, a daily evening cartoon for kids).
