Previously known as Phonograph, Marching Room is a four-piece Sydney band featuring Ben Hassell on guitar/vocals, Matt Edge on bass/vocals, Jesse Porter on drums/backing vocals and Stephen Claxton on guitar/keys/backing vocals. They play tight, dirty indie-rock, that is, in the words of Red Eye Records, "for fans of The Red Riders, Blur & handsome young chaps in tight trousers".
