Marc Lezwijn Guitar, Bass, Composition (photo’s beneath this text) Compositions and arrangements for a variety of groups and ensembles in classical-, jazz- and world music. Producer/performer/guitarist in music events for theater, educational projects and recording. Bandleader, guitarteacher and composer/arranger at several musical institutes. 1978 TROS award in the Princess Christina Competition 1980 Honored by the Johan Wagenaar Foundation as a young composer for his compostion ‘Dreamwalk’. 1980 - 1988 Musical studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and the conservatory in Rotterdam. Masterclasses in France and Finland with Manuel Barrueco, Roberto Aussel and Leo Brouwer. Sonology course and ‘Music Management’ as postgraduate studies at the University in Utrecht. School concerts(group 1-3) with De Gevoelige Snaar(The Sensitive String) 1984 Finalist in the Concours de Castre(classic) in France. 1990 - 1995 Touring Holland, Germany and Austria with his own compositions in small and big theaters. Producing five evening programs and three children/school programs. 1993 Finalist in The International Ibanez Award(pop). 1995 Founding www.ontopstudio.nl; recording and composition studio for a variety of musical projects. Children’s songs, jazz, pop, multimedia and classical music. 2000 Release of ‘Timeline’; a compilation CD with compostional material from 1978 to 2000. Life performing on dutch television.
