Mar de Robles are a progressive rock/fusion band from Rancagua, Chile. Their music is very mystical and ethnical for what they have tagged themselves as ethno-prog when asked. Mar de Robles have released two albums: MdR (2003) and Indígena (2007), and they have played at numerous international venues, including the prestigious "Baja Prog" festival in Mexico. The musicians are: Julio Tobar: vocals, tenor sax and traverse flute. Rodrigo Moris: guitars. Cristián Larrondo: bass, fretless bass and chapman stick. Jesús Parada: drums and percussions. Ignacio Larrondo: congas, djembé and percussions.
