Manufactured Soul is the electronic music project of Virginia Beach, VA based Mark Westmeyer. There have been numerous Albums and EPs released over the years, covering a diverse range of dark and futuristic topics. "Artificial Mind" was recently released in June of 2023 and a companion remix album "Artificial Minds" and EP "Junked Data" are slated for early 2024. The new EP "Stuck in Stasis" is currently on track for release in late 2024. Manufactured Soul at its core attempts to pit the “real” world against a seemingly “pretend” one. Think the Matrix. For Mark music has always felt like a sort of “superpower” in an otherwise dull and drab “real” world. By implanting our Manufactured Souls within unique digital audio landscapes we can essentially become anyone; or do anything in song form. My musical journey is about helping myself and all of you find yourselves. This climb is steep and each of our journeys unique, but with hope there will always be an outstretched hand waiting just out of reach to pull each of us up higher and that much closer to god.
