He was a member of the portuguese homeosthetic movement, together with Pedro Proença, Pedro Portugal, Ivo Silva, Xana and Fernando Brito. Founder and vocalist of the bands Ena Pá 2000, Irmãos Catita and Corações de Atum, he created and embodied several characters on stage, such as Lello Universal, Lello Minsk, Lello Marmelo, Élvis Ramalho, Orgasmo Carlos, Catita, among others. In 2008, a fictional biography of him was the subject of a six-episode series, entitled Mundo Catita, which was broadcast on RTP2.
