about

With this new trio, Manuel Hermia takes us into a jazzy world rooted in the tradition and at the same time open to all influences, music both modern and risk-loving, but still accessible. It contains some compositions based on the principle of "Rajazz”, with research in harmony and a mixture of colours that gives it a unique character, some compositions are flirting with the edges of jazz, with a range of emotions going from the most sweet and deepest and from the most crazy to the most raging. A modern trio that loves groove as well as melodies, and that strives to honour jazz, the music that is called libertarian. Manuel Hermia - alto, soprano and tenor sax, bansuri flute; Manolo Cabras - bass; João Lobo - drums and percussion User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
