Manoel Magalhães is a Brazilian composer and musician from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2018 he launched his first solo album “Consertos em Geral” (General Repairs) produced by Manoel and Clower Curtis, with 9 tracks, featuring Vivian Benford. Prior to his solo career, Manoel was also the founder of the bands Polar in 2005, and Harmada in 2010, as well as being a guitarist and one of the composers of the group Columbia (2005-06). He has played in major festivals in Brazil, opened concerts for international artists such as British band Placebo and also composes soundtracks for movies and television. He took part in the tribute to legendary Brazilian singer Belchior "Ainda Somos os Mesmos" (We are Still the Same) with a version for the song “Velha Roupa Colorida” (Old Colored Clothing).
