Based in Barcelona, Malmo 040 is a Spanish pop-rock band that has rapidly become a defining voice in the country's new wave of guitar-driven music. Composed of friends Carlos Sayeras, Joan Pastor, Nacho Peguero, Gonzalo de Ros, and Víctor Rossy, the group formed in 2017 with a shared passion for blending heartfelt songwriting with energetic, stadium-ready production. After gaining momentum with their debut EP, 040, they solidified their place in the indie scene with their first full-length album, Los Cobardes Viven Siempre, and the viral hit "Matar la Pena" alongside Besmaya.
