There are three bands called Malcontent: 1. Malcontent was formed in the winter of 2007 by Guitarist Aydin Zahedi & Vocalist and keyboard player Hadi Kiani. 2. Malcontent are a quartet from Oporto - Portugal - led by Sérgio Costa. When you listen to them you know their influences (The Jesus And Mary Chain, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Sonic Youth, Joy Division, Nine Inch Nails) and they don't deny them. They started playing in 2007 and released several promo singles. Finally, they have their first full LP out, called Love The Gun, which the band self-released. Members: Sérgio Costa (Vocals, Guitars) André Couto (Bass Edgar Moreira (Samplers, Guitars) Filipe Pereira (Drums) 3. Matty Goss, Brice Mosher, Anthony Ferrantino and Alan Roble are four individuals co-existing in this musical environment with one goal in mind: to push each other and their music to creativity’s edge. Often said by their peers to be one of the hardest working bands , Malcontent is an emotionally charged eclectic quartet that strives to give audiences an energetic and volatile show.
