The group formed in 2013 and includes Gergely Nagy on guitar, Marcell Gyányi on bass, and Tamás Czirják on drums. G and M were playing together since high school, T joined them after they met at The Liszt Ferenc Academy’s jazz program. makrohang recorded and uploaded their first demo (monokini terror) to Bandcamp in 2013 which was followed by a live EP recording in 2014 (tilosradio session). After winning the 2014 Talentometer talent contest organized by A38 Ship as the first instrumental act the band achieved national recognition. They had several successful shows and recorded live sessions with psychedelic jazzrock newcomer Jü (debuting at RareNoiseRecords) and Balázs Pándi (Venetian Snares, Merzbow, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, etc.). The trio have released their second studio ep (MAXREBO) on the 19th december 2014 via S*10 Records, and currently working on their next album (planned to be recorded in the first half of 2015). //////////////////////\\//////////////\\/////////////////\\/////////////////////\\/////////////////\\\///////////\\\////////
