Maja Slatinšek is a young Slovenian singer and one of the most promising and talented performers in the region. She has been singing since she was little and became famous when she first appeared at the Slovenian National Eurovision Selection - EMA 2004 and qualified for the final where she reached 4th place. In the same year Maja performed at the HIT Festival and became the absolute winner. In the following years Maja performed at several TV Shows, festivals and received several "best performer" awards. She was one of the most wanted backing singers in Slovenia and abroad and in 2006 she vocally accompanied Anzej Dezan on the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens. Today, Maja sings a lot with symphonic orchestras, big bands, as well as her young pop rock group "Fish'n'Chips".
