This text is quoted from the artist's homepage: "Well, here's my chance to introduce myself. For starters, my real name is Jesse Gregory. The name "Main Finger" is based on an obscure Simpson's reference. But enough about names... You'll notice a majority of my music is videogame related. Videogame music has been an influence and passion of mine for as long as I can remember. When I was little, I would take an old tape recorder and record the bgm tests from various games onto tapes so that I could listen to the soundtracks whenever I wanted. A lot of people thought that was pretty odd and some figured I'd grow out of it, but here I am today, still collecting game soundtracks as well as people's arrangements (both official and fan made) and it's still what I listen to probably 80% of the time. Let's break down some favorites. My favorite game series of all time is Megaman... all of them... seriously. Second would have to be Metroid, then Zelda. Other than that, there's really way too many great games to list. My favorite game soundtrack composer is without a doubt, Yasunori Mitsuda (of Chrono Trigger/Cross and Xenogears/saga fame). Second spot I would give to Nobuo Uematsu... not a very unique choice, but hey... there's a reason his music is popular!
