Magnus Fra Gaarden is a band from the fine city of Esbjerg on the westcoast of Denmark. The band started in 2005 as a part of the headcomposer and alt-horn-player Magnus Bak's graduation exam from MGK, a preparation school for the Academy of Music. All the members, except for the bassplayer, are now studying at The Academy of Music in Esbjerg. They are playing only original compositions mainly by Magnus Bak. The music is influenced by balkan, freejazz, indierock and punk...you name it! After several concerts around Denmark and a tv-perfomance, the band is now playing tighter than ever.
