Made of Wood is the downtempo, chillout-funk and acid jazz project of multi-instrumentalist and producer Dan Waldman. The music is created using a range of acoustic and electronic, live and sampled sounds, many of the sampled sounds coming from alterations of performances and improvisations. Inspirations and influences are wide-ranging: from Thievery Corporation to the Meters, Parliament Funkadelic, Medeski Martin and Wood, Radiohead, Herbie Hancock and Air.
