We are Made of Ashes, and we first created this band to make metalcore music. We started as a trio, with Julien (drums), J-B (guitar) and Emile (bass), and after a few rehearsals, we decided to hire, on 11/05/2011, a second guitar player (Romain), a singer (Dorian) and a keyboard player (Crimi). Since then, we started to skip the covers step and compose our very own songs. Three months only after the band was complete, we recorded out first song, Enemies, with Lou Gregoire (member of A.I.(d), singer in Stillborn Messengers, guitar player in Wings of Despair). Lou Gregoire would still record songs for us, as we decided to fully record our first EP on mid-june 2012. Meanwhile, we had the opportunity to give live concerts twice (on 04/13/12 at the Volume and on 05/25/12 at the Altherax), thanks to Dead Rose Entertainment. While our first album is still in progress, we released our first EP, [R E B 0 R N], available all around the world on 09/09/2012.
