Mad Hatter 2.0 were a Groove Metal band from the United Kingdom that existed from 2010 until their continued health issues caused a split in 2013, followed by a reformation in 2015 and a final split in 2016. They performed at many venues and festivals throughout the United Kingdom and released a number of singles and an album, Deconstruct. Mad Hatter 2.0 was itself the rebirth of the late '80s and early '90s Metal band Mad Hatter (1987 - 1995), who supported bands such as Scorpions, Wolfsbane, Girlschool, Whitelion and also Paul Di'Anno's Killers. With which they supported during parts of their Murder One U.K. tour. This original line up disbanded in 1995 due to problems within the band as well as a general decline in the popularity in Metal music. The first 2010 line up consisted of: Marc (vocals), Paul (guitar), Billy (bass) and Jai (drums), of which Marc and Jai were of the original Mad Hatter. Later that year Billy and Jai left and were replaced by Kurt on drums and Hayden on bass, who would remain until the final split up of Mad Hatter 2.0. By the end of 2010 Mad Hatter 2.0 had performed many gigs and released their EP "Perseverance", as well as a number of demos, which resulted in a great deal of popularity and acclaim. After the release of their E.P. "E.M.T." in 2012, the line up again changed due to the departure of their guitarist Paul, who had personal differences with the rest of the band. However it wasn't long before this was resolved and Mad Hatter 2.0
