Mad Cats and Beehives is a group of 4, passionate musicians from Central New Jersey. They have been together for the last couple years, progressing with different band members, and musical styles. Their current style is a clash of reggae, rock, punk, funk, progressive, and hip hop music. If anyone has seen them live over the past few months, he/she would say that their stage presence is screaming with energy, and the sound is .."tight as a mosquito..'s ass..". Recent performances include headlining at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ and opening for the legendary ska band, Big D and the Kids Table, at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ. Here..'s how a fan described crowd reaction during the band..'s final song, .."it worked well considering people were break dancing....it was fantastic, it had a strong latin/reggae feel to it......." This band has a genuine rock sound with a deep cutting, fast pace, groove. The band..'s first album entitled, .."Conquest for Satisfaction..", released onto ITunes in 2009 and their new EP, .."Brain Play..", is soon to be released. The first song on the EP can be heard now online, .."Ride..'s a Ride..".
