Whatever you might think, the hardest thing for a rock band is to find the right people… Macrophone was founded in the summer of 2006. Almost all the circumstances surrounding the assembling of the team were a coincidence. But let us go back to the beginning. It all started back in the winter of 2004 when Alan and Nikola first met. It was almost instantly that they both knew they had to make music together. From then on, it took almost two years for the band to be assembled - it was not easy to find the right people to work with. In july 2006 Yasen and Nikola, who had been friends since high school, and even had a band back then, met and Nikola offered him to join the band. Yasen had just quit his previous band and immediately agreed. The band has been working on their debut album for almost four years. Until 2010, when Nasko Popov (drums) joined. He is considered to be one of the top 5 drummers in Bulgaria. Currently, Macrophone are ready with their debut album. Its name is "Contract For a Contact", and it was released on December 13th 2010. Armed with positivism, fresh ideas, and hopes, Macrophone are ready to share their work with you.
