Born in Luanshya (Zambia). Happy Machona, professionally known as Machona is a Podcaster, songwriter, singer, rapper and producer. In his early years, Machona fell in love with music writing, in the hope that he would be writing for other artists. However, with no success in finding people interested his work, he decided to start recording the music himself. His first recording was in 2010 on a song called "Broken hearts heal" with long time friend and collaborator, Amideous Mutale. In 2018, Machona released his first album called "My Destiny". The album was a compilation of songs he had recorded over the years. Majority of the songs were produced by Amideous Mutale. One of the songs, "We are Alright" was produced by a well known Zambian producer, DJ Mzenga Man. Machona has further worked with DJ Mzenga Man on the Hip Hop album called "Shadows of Life" released in 2019. The Album has 10 tracks, which include "Destiny" and "Heaven is my home". Machona studied Computing and Information Systems in Lusaka, Zambia, before relocating to Australia in 2012, where he acquired an Associate Degree in Computer Network Technology and a Diploma in Management. In his own words, Machona says, "Music has always been in me and now i am thankful to God that i can use it as a tool for reaching out to the world...".
