Technology is our instrument. Drum machines, pitch shifting, copy-paste, effect machines, midi instruments. We do it all. Machine, dear was created with the ambition to try to prove – to ourselves at least – that we by means of sound designs on a computer are able to express feelings and moods that we can’t create in the classic electrical amplified band. We are designers of alternative pop music. So at night time – when everybody else are sleeping – we spend hours trying to become one with machines. The first result of this materialized in January 2012 as our debut album “Killing something that’s already dead” but more song designs are in the making. Machine, dear is Anders Søndergaard and Frans Galschiøt Quaade, left and right half of the brain, respectively. We hope you enjoy what you hear.
