Great dedication and a natural sense for track selection are Macgaren a.k.a. Gabriel Peixer's tools for conquering space in the Brazilian EDM scene. He lives his motto of "forward thinking dance music" in his productions and performances. Peixer has been connected to music from a young age working as a guitarist and vocalist in an 80's punk rock band in his teens. His musical influences include artists as diverse as Roni Size and Daft Punk. He began his career as a DJ in 2006 and as Macgaren a year later. Gabriel's range in taste and production has led him to collaborate with Plastic Seed creating an experimental trip hop project. His first EP Between Oceans became the second most popular release list at DJdownload within a week.
