Artist
Surprisingly, Mitch Cramer started as a guitar player at the age of 14, soaking in influences ranging from the classics (Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer) to heavier stuff like Cannibal Corpse. From there on, the next logical step was to start exploring the industrial and mechanical soundscapes of Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, Aphex Twin, and the more beat-oriented Autechre. This was the bridge needed to cross for his enthusiasm towards electronic music come to fruition. On his 20s, he grew an interest on ambient soundscapes to be applied later onto more rhythmically based music, his passion towards two very different genres giving shape to a very interesting future. And this future is where we stand. After acquiring reaktor from native instruments, a whole new world of experimental electronic sounds was discovered. The culmination of all the genres he grew to love are at full display on his most recent musical endeavors, the detailed and precise beat work from the most technical heavy bands and the more ethereal side of things of electronic music. With an impressive array of music displayed on his websites and social networks, expect rigorous and experienced glitch material to be unleashed soon.
