The story of Empty Orchestra is a long one, and will be told late into the night. What? You still want to hear? If you insist, now settle down children. Our tale begins with two boys, a little bit older than you perhaps, who lived in the small town of Pleasantville, NY. Yes i know, its a strange name for a place, but things were different in those times. Back then, the two boys, Devin Stack and Billy Pedlow, if you must know their names, shared a common desire to play music and get chicks, not necessarily in that order. Now the boys tried long and hard since 2005 but had little luck, although they had the privelege of playing with such legends as Chad Oliver of the legendary Two States and Tim Sosler of the ancient but still gripping Beneficial Tomatoes. However, nothing the boys did seemed to sound good. They tried long and hard, and fought many foes and made many allies but it was not until the summer of 2009, O! what a summer!, that one of the boys had a vision of greatness, a vision of musical power and beauty so great it would bring tears to the eyes of the legions of girls who could only think about the boys in bed before they went to sleep and---Oh, sorry, i got carried away... Ahem... back to the story. The two boys were then joined by a traveling bard named Josh Bucheister who, after losing a gentlemen's wager involving a teapot and a great number of rare African tree frogs, agreed to play full time with the ragged band of adventurers.
