mrk is a Bristol, England based artist. Originally from Leeds he has been making music for around 12 years. Initially a guitarist seeking to record ideas he is now an all-round musician/producer/engineer who skirts around the fringe of electronica. Experimental is always a keyword in describing the music, it has no real basis in any particular genre. There are elements of psychedelia, live audio, electronica, breaks, tech-house and spoken word. He has played at the West Indian Centre in Leeds, the Leeds Unity Day Festival in 2003 and Zanzibar in Liverpool in 2006.
